World Tourism Day, celebrated every year on September 27, The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) celebrates World Tourism Day on September 27 every year. Every year the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) announces the theme of World Tourism Day. The theme for 2021 was "Tourism for Inclusive Growth".

TDCP celebrate this event everyday according to the given theme. In this regard TDCP has organized many competitions among the youth like, painting competitions, photography competitions at different heritage sites, Explore Punjab Photography exhibitions and many more.
